Job Summary

You will develop and maintain Java backend systems, ensuring robust microservices and API integrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively manage production environments and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align backend development with business needs
• Take ownership of production systems by proactively monitoring and resolving issues
• Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x to deliver scalable solutions
• Build and support microservices and REST/Graph QL APIs to enable seamless service integration
• Implement and manage AWS cloud services including ECS, EC2, and RDS to support application infrastructure
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate and standardize cloud resource provisioning
• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS Code Commit, and Code Pipeline for efficient software delivery
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance
• Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana and AWS CloudWatch to track system health and troubleshoot issues
• Manage authentication and authorization processes using Okta to secure applications
• Integrate APIs using MuleSoft to connect diverse systems and services
  
  

Preferred Competencies And Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development
• 3+ years of experience with Okta for authentication/authorization
• 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft for API integration
