Our client who is an established multinational organization is seeking a dedicated General Ledger Accountant to join its Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to financial reporting, month-end closing, reconciliations, audit support, and business controlling within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform bank, intercompany, and GL reconciliations
• Monitor P&L variances and support financial reporting
• Review fixed assets and procure-to-pay transactions
• Support audits, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of General Ledger or Financial Accounting experience
• Knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

Salary

• RM4,000 – RM6,000/month (commensurate with experience)
