The Procurement team aims to provide high-quality purchasing solutions and establish a global platform for purchasing resources. Through providing professional management of procurement resources, selecting high-quality suppliers, and managing supplier performance, we aim to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance of our company's procurement behaviour, fostering a healthy long-term business environment.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee our consulting services category in the U.S. This role involves strategising to secure cost-effective deals and high-performing suppliers, identifying resources to support our rapidly growing businesses across various segments and regions, engaging with key stakeholders to assess needs and define supplier strategies, and ensuring compliance for effective risk control.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key procurement partner for Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service requirements by delivering, implementing, and optimising procurement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, leveraging strong commercial acumen to define procurement and sourcing strategies. Support business growth by providing feasibility assessments and innovative procurement solutions.
- Develop deep expertise in the global BPO services market by conducting category benchmarking, analysing market and supplier data, identifying high-quality and cost-effective vendors, and building strong procurement project management capabilities.
- Manage supplier performance and day-to-day deliverables, establish performance measurement frameworks to encourage healthy competition among vendors, ensure supply continuity, and drive greater efficiency and operational flexibility.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in BPO operation industry or 5+ years' work experience in a procurement role, with proficiency in category management.
- Strong understanding and practical application of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support strategic decision-making and solve complex problems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines effectively.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, managing conflict and navigating organisational change.
- Willingness to travel within the region and/or internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications in procurement (e.g. CIPS, CPM, CPP or equivalent).
- Global BPO experience with Procurement Category or Operation / Account management in BPO industry.
- Experience working in fast-paced, preferably technology-driven environments.
- Solid understanding of global procurement regulations, strategy, market trends and best practices.
