Job Description

Responsibilities

5.5 working days

We seek a highly motivated and proactive Process Engineer with a strong understanding of refinery operations, particularly in distillation units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring system performance, maintaining safety compliance, and driving continuous improvements in plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Refinery Operations:

  • Oversee and support the day-to-day operation of the refinery plant, with a focus on the distillation process.
  • Ensure optimal production efficiency while maintaining safety, environmental, and legal compliance.
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimize process parameters to meet or exceed monthly production targets.

Technical Expertise:

  • Interpret and analyse P&ID drawings, process flow diagrams, and engineering schematics.
  • Use AutoCAD to review, update, and modify plant drawings and layouts when necessary.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.

System Improvement & SOP:

  • Upgrade and improve existing systems and workflows.
  • Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support plant modifications and expansions.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations adhere to internal safety policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Actively promote a strong safety culture within the team.

Team Collaboration:

  • Liaise with technicians and maintenance personnel daily to resolve operational issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve overall plant performance.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting P&ID and process drawings.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD or equivalent design/drawing software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and a multitasker.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
