Responsibilities

About the Role

Aisling Group is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Payable Executive to join our Finance Shared Services team.

In this role, you will support the accounts payable function across multiple Aisling Group entities. You will be responsible for assisting with invoice verification, payment preparation, supplier records, reconciliations, and audit documentation.

The ideal candidate should be organised, willing to learn, and comfortable working with numbers, documents, and deadlines in a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify supporting documents, approvals, and payment details before processing payments
  • Prepare payment schedules and assist with online banking payment arrangements
  • Maintain supplier master records and ensure supplier information is accurate and up to date
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Respond to supplier enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support accounts payable reconciliations and month-end closing activities
  • Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for audit purposes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, Malaysian accounting requirements, and SST requirements
  • Support accounts payable processes for multiple Aisling Group entities under the Shared Services model
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, payment records, and supporting documents

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Up to 2 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, accounting, or shared services will be an added advantage
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial documents
  • Willingness to learn and take on administrative finance tasks
  • Positive attitude and able to work well in a team
  • Able to manage deadlines and follow established processes
  • Good communication skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Internship or working experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable
  • Familiarity with invoice processing, payment preparation, or supplier reconciliation
  • Basic understanding of Malaysian SST requirements
  • Experience using accounting software or ERP systems
