Apex Office Furniture Exporter Hiring! Full Time Executive, Designer in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

We're looking for a creative and commercially minded Executive Designer to transform client requirements into compelling furniture design solutions that help our sales team win projects. In this role, you'll create proposal presentations, space planning layouts, technical drawings, and high-quality visualizations while working closely with Sales, Operations, and Production. You'll manage multiple projects independently, ensuring every design is accurate, practical, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Client & Sales Design Support

• Translate client requirements into practical and innovative office furniture solutions.
• Prepare client-ready proposal presentations that support business development and project success.
• Produce product cut-sheets and supporting technical documents for client submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Production to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.

2.Proposal & Presentation Assets

• Collaborate with the sales team to design engaging proposal decks and presentation materials.
• Create persuasive visual concepts and storytelling that enhance client presentations.
• Maintain and improve design templates, standard drawing blocks, and rendering scenes for greater efficiency.

3.Spatial & Site-Ready Documentation

• Develop accurate furniture layout plans that maximize functionality and space utilization.
• Prepare site marking and installation layouts to ensure smooth project execution.

4.Customization & Technical Drawings

• Produce detailed shop drawings with full fabrication drawings (joinery, material callouts, edge profiles, grommet positions) for designer/architect sign off.
• Develop customized furniture drawings, including elevations, sections, and detailed specifications for bespoke solutions.

5.Innovation & Trends

• Stay updated with the latest trends in office furniture, workplace design, materials, and interior solutions.
• Explore and adopt AI-powered design tools and digital technologies to improve design quality, visualization, and productivity.
• Recommend innovative design approaches that enhance client experience and improve internal workflows.

Job Requirements:

• Malaysian citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture or Product Design.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in design, preferably in office furniture, workplace solutions, or interiors industries.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3D Max, Adobe InDesign, or equivalent. Experience using AI-assisted design tools is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
