Purnama Solution (M) Hiring! Full Time Project Manager – Data Centre Fibre - Structured Cabling Works in Johor, Earn up to MYR 12,000 - Ricebowl

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to manage data centre fibre optic, structured cabling, ELV and external fibre installation works at a fast-paced data centre project in Nusajaya / Gelang Patah, Johor.

The candidate must be hands-on, site-driven, highly responsive and able to manage supervisors, installers, subcontractors, safety documentation, daily reporting, client coordination and work progress under strict project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site execution for fibre optic, structured cabling, ELV and related data centre works.
• Coordinate with client representatives, main contractor, consultants, safety team, site supervisors, installers and subcontractors.
• Plan and control manpower for day and night shift operations.
• Monitor daily progress, productivity, quality, safety compliance and site readiness.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports, manpower reports, site photos, work completion updates and issue trackers.
• Ensure all works follow approved drawings, method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work requirements and safety procedures.
• Manage cable pulling, fibre routing, containment/trunking coordination, bridge crossing works, cable support installation, labelling, patching, testing and handover documentation where applicable.
• Attend site meetings and provide clear updates to management and client representatives.
• Identify and escalate site constraints early, including access issues, material shortages, drawing discrepancies, safety risks and manpower gaps.
• Ensure proper discipline among site teams and maintain professional communication through WhatsApp, email and site reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in project management, site management or construction coordination.
• Experience in data centre, fibre optic, structured cabling, ELV, telecom, M&E or infrastructure projects
• Able to work in Nusajaya / Gelang Patah, Johor.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including day shift, night shift, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Strong understanding of site safety, Permit-to-Work, Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Toolbox Meeting and daily site reporting.
• Able to read drawings, understand cable routes and coordinate work execution with site teams.
• Must be proactive, disciplined, punctual, responsive and able to work under pressure.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Added Advantage:

• Data centre project experience.
• Fibre optic cable pulling, patching, splicing, OTDR testing or structured cabling experience.
• CIDB Green Card.
• Experience managing day and night shift teams.
• Ability to prepare professional reports and client-facing updates.

This is a site-based role. The candidate must be able to lead from site, push progress daily, control manpower, maintain safety discipline, update management clearly and solve problems quickly.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
