Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities to create new food products and improve existing formulations
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure product quality, consistency and compliance with food safety standards
• Document all research findings, experiments and outcomes in detailed technical reports
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements in food technology
• Support the development and implementation of food safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
• Conduct sensory evaluation and nutritional analysis of food products
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and recommend solutions based on research findings
• Participate in cost analysis and optimization of product formulations and manufacturing processes
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all products comply with relevant food safety legislation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• Proven experience working in a food technology or food safety environment, ideally within an R&D department
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques used in food testing and quality control
• Understanding of food safety standards, regulations and certifications such as HACCP, GMP and ISO standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in conducting experiments and analyzing data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
