Job Description

• Match sales and purchase invoices against system records and supporting documents.
• Verify, process, and key in petty cash claims into the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Record journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process and key in payment transactions into the accounting system.
• Key in subcontractor invoices, progress claim invoices, and expense invoices.
• Prepare project cost analysis and monitor project-related expenses.
• Perform daily stock in and stock out data entry and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper sorting, filing, and maintenance of accounting documents and records.
• Assist in daily accounting, finance, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding accounting matters when required.
• Perform any other duties or ad hoc assignments as assigned by the immediate superior or management.

Job Requirements

• Working Days: Monday to Friday.
• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (SQL).
• Good command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn.
• Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
