What The Role Is

The Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which aims to pioneer innovation solutions and develop world class science and technology capabilities to transform and empower the Home Team in delivering safety and security for Singapore.

We are building a team of specialised AI-enabled Enterprise Architects. We are looking for fearless AI Agents Engineers to design and orchestrate autonomous AI agents that will act as expert enterprise architects across multiple tech domains.

The jobholder will create intelligent AI agents covering key areas including networking, infrastructure, security, data and AI, and software engineering. These agents will generate production-quality architecture designs, develop migration strategies, provide technical guidance to product teams, and produce production-ready code and solutions.

What You Will Be Working On

The principal accountabilities of the job holder are (but not limited to):

• Design and build specialized AI agents for different architecture domains
• Define clear agent, goals, skills, and capabilities
• Engineer high-quality context systems and reasoning loops
• Build multi-agent orchestration systems that enable collaboration across domains
• Create agents that consistently deliver high-quality, production-grade outputs
• Deploy the agents
  
  

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, engineering or a related engineering field.
• Love to code
• AI Native
  
  Experience:
• Strong experience building agentic AI systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Deep expertise in context engineering and tool-use patterns.
• Have at least 2 years of experience doing software engineering for enterprises either as an architect, developer, DevOps or SRE.
• Experience in building re-usable components and implement enterprise architecture patterns will be fantastic.

• Good understanding of enterprise architecting principles, architecture concepts, frameworks, and documentation practices.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
