We are inviting applications for a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) position for a Master’s-level research project in the area of Autonomous Wireless Systems for 6G. This project focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence with real-world Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems, targeting high-impact (Q1/Q2) IEEE publications and commercialization opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Electrical Engineering / Telecommunications
• Computer Engineering
• Computer Science (with communication systems background)
• Strong interest in:
• Wireless Communications (5G/6G)
• Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
  

• Programming:
• Python (required)
• MATLAB (optional)
• Knowledge of:
• Wireless communication fundamentals (SINR, channel models, interference)
• Machine Learning / Deep Learning
• Familiarity with:
• Reinforcement Learning (basic level acceptable)
• GNU Radio / SDR platforms (e.g., USRP)
• Willingness to work on real experimental systems
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to read and interpret IEEE research papers
• Interest in publishing in Q1/Q2 journals
• Self-motivated, independent, and committed to a 2-year Master’s research project
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  

• Monthly allowance: RM 2,500
