Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Senior Internal Control Process Manager is responsible for leading the organization's HR internal control framework and HR technology transformation initiatives. This role oversees the end-to-end implementation, optimization, and governance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), while ensuring standardized processes, compliance, and operational excellence across the organization.

The Senior ICM Manager collaborates with Regional HR, Change Management, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive digital transformation, process improvements, and system implementation of projects implemented across different business units. The role also manages a team responsible for process documentation, data management, and governance activities, ensuring business processes are consistently implemented across HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, and General Administration.



Key Responsibilities

Internal Controls & Process Governance

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's internal control framework and governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and standardized business processes.
  • Monitor process adherence, identify risks and control gaps, and implement sustainable improvements.
  • Lead process standardization initiatives across HR, Finance & Accounting, IT, and General Administration.


HRIS Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end HRIS implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage HR technology platforms including Core HR, Recruitment, Payroll, Performance Management, Talent Management, Travel, and other HR systems.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather business requirements, design workflows, and configure system functionalities.
  • Oversee data migration, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Establish governance for ongoing system enhancements and continuous optimization.


Vendor Management

  • Act as the primary liaison with external vendors for HRIS implementation and data migration projects.
  • Monitor project deliverables, timelines, and service quality to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive vendors to meet business requirements while maintaining project governance and accountability.


Change Management

  • Partner closely with the Change Management team to ensure new processes and system enhancements are effectively documented, communicated, and adopted.
  • Develop communication and adoption strategies to support organizational readiness.
  • Drive compliance with standardized processes across all business units.


Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of junior Internal Control & Process specialists responsible for process and data management.
  • Allocate work priorities, monitor performance, and build team capability through coaching and continuous development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Regional HR, country HR teams, IT, Finance, business leaders, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS, process governance, and internal control projects.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple functions and regions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.


Process Improvement & Risk Management

  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement technology-enabled solutions to improve productivity and user experience.
  • Ensure HR systems support regulatory compliance, data integrity, and internal policies.
  • Lead automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop performance metrics to measure system effectiveness, user adoption, compliance, and project outcomes.
  • Provide regular project updates, governance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or equivalent are highly desirable.



Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in HRIS implementation, HR technology, Internal Controls, Process Governance, Shared Services, or HR Transformation.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise HRIS/ERP implementation projects within multinational or regional organizations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
