Are you passionate about building scalable data platforms and modern cloud-based data solutions?

We're hiring a Senior Consultant (Databricks Data Engineer) to join our client, NCS, one of Asia Pacific's leading technology services companies. You'll play a key role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade data platforms using Databricks, Azure, and PySpark, supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Location: Singapore (NCS Hub)

Employment: 12-Month Contract (Extendable)

Salary: Up to S$13,000/month (commensurate with experience)

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Azure
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation and loading of structured and unstructured data
• Build and optimize data solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, streaming platforms and external sources
• Develop robust data transformation, validation and monitoring processes
• Collaborate with analytics, product and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable data platforms
• Optimize pipeline performance, batch scheduling and resource utilization
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployment and post-implementation activities
• Contribute to CI/CD, code quality and data governance best practices
• Build dashboards, reports and data visualizations where required

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Databricks
• PySpark
• Spark SQL
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Data Lake / Delta Lake
• SQL
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Good understanding of distributed data processing and data modelling
• Experience with Azure cloud services (AWS is a plus)
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Databricks Data Engineer Associate or Professional Certification
• Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Certification
