Job Description

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a cybersecurity background to lead high-impact security initiatives across our organization. This role sits at the intersection of program management and technical security operations, requiring someone who can translate regulatory requirements into actionable project plans and drive cross-functional teams to deliver measurable security improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Fit-and-Gap Analysis: Lead and coordinate fit-and-gap assessments against applicable regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPAA, or industry-specific mandates), with a strong focus on security control requirements. Translate findings into remediation roadmaps and track execution.
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) Initiatives: Manage projects to improve and streamline privileged ID onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle management workflows, partnering closely with technical teams using tools such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and Splunk.
  • Identity Governance: Coordinate efforts to enhance identity governance and administration (IGA) processes, ensuring access requests, approvals, and certifications align with least-privilege and compliance standards.
  • Network Segmentation Projects: Drive initiatives to enhance network segmentation architecture, working with network and security engineering teams to reduce attack surface and improve containment capabilities
  • Project Governance: Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and executive-level dashboards. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships as needed.isk & Issue Management: Identify, track, and escalate project risks and issues, particularly those with security or compliance implications, and drive timely resolution.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare clear, audit-ready documentation of project outcomes, control improvements, and remediation evidence for internal and external stakeholders (including auditors and regulators).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Cybersecurity
  • With project management experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on cybersecurity, identity management, or IT risk/compliance projects.
  • Familiarity with privileged access management concepts and hands-on exposure to tools such as CyberArk, SailPoint, and Splunk
