Responsibilities

About the Role

This is an individual contributor role who is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions that enhance scalable web applications. This role will be responsible for taking ideas from concept through production, integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and modern software engineering practices to deliver impactful business solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in AI/ML technologies with full-stack development experience and a passion for building robust, scalable, and production-ready applications.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features and intelligent systems for scalable web applications.
  • Translate business requirements and product ideas into technical solutions from ideation to production deployment.
  • Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and AI pipelines to support web-based applications.
  • Integrate AI models into production environments with scalability, performance, and security in mind.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Monitor model performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve AI systems.
  • Ensure application reliability, scalability, and maintainability through best engineering practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Min. 10+ years of experience in software development engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning development.
  • AI Prompting and fine tuning: Proven experience working with LLMs
  • Writing prompts, optimizing and measuring effectiveness of LLM applications
  • Engineering Fundamentals:
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering fundamentals: SOLID, TDD, version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab) and workflows, and ability to write production-ready code.
  • Deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals: Data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and implications of computer architecture on software performance (e.g., I/O and memory tuning).
  • Architecture: Familiarity with software architecture patterns such as microservices, CQRS, and event sourcing.
  • Cloud & DevOps:
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers.


Travel

Traveling may be necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.


Occasionally travels internationally to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring extended overnight stays.
