Key Responsibilities
- Design & Draw: Create and update Electronics Circuit Diagrams (ECD) for new machines, customer upgrades, and serial production.
- Safety: Design machine control systems that meet CE and local safety standards.
- Solve Problems: Spot weaknesses in electrical parts or processes, back them up with data, and develop improvements.
- Research & Innovate: Study the market and competitor products to inspire better designs.
- Redesign for Impact: Improve product functionality, reduce lead time, manage obsolete parts, or cut costs through smart redesigns.
- Lead Projects: Create design specs, test plans, and oversee prototypes from concept to completion.
- Document Changes: Issue Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and keep everyone informed.
- Test Thoroughly: Test prototypes for performance, ease of use, and durability.
- Support Everywhere: Troubleshoot and resolve issues internally (Assembly, Service, Production) and externally (customers) — remotely or on-site.
- Manage Projects: Work with Project Managers to track resources and meet deadlines. Lead development projects when assigned.
- Analyze & Fix: Prepare critical analysis reports and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Get Hands-On: Jump into Assembly or Carrier Tape production when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Education background in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with PLC - Beckhoff TwinCAT, Motion Control, E-CAD system & SAP – create Bill of Material (BOM)
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
