Job Description:
We run 20+ consumer electronics stores across Malaysia carrying top brands — Samsung, OPPO,
Xiaomi, HONOR, Vivo and more. Our frontline staff are our biggest sales asset. We need someone
who can train them, coach them, and make sure the numbers show it.
This is one role with clear missions: build product knowledge across the team, and build their ability to
sell.
Key Responsibilities
1. Apple Portfolio
- Drive Performance: Conduct product and sales training specifically aimed at increasing sell-through
and ecosystem attachment rates.
- Compliance & Excellence: Ensure 100% compliance across all outlets regarding planograms, demo
units, and digital catalog accuracy.
- Apple Sales Coach: Facilitate and monitor the full completion of the Apple Sales Coach program
across all outlets.
- Analytics: Track store-level Apple sales data to identify trends and deploy targeted training
interventions.
2. Sales Coaching & Development
- Consultative Selling: Train store staff on the full sales cycle: proactive customer engagement, needs
discovery, objection handling, and effective closing.
- Field Observations: Conduct scheduled floor visits to observe live interactions, providing immediate
"on-the-spot" coaching and feedback.
- Practical Simulation: Lead role-play sessions for high-value products and trade-in scenarios to build
staff confidence and competence.
- Performance Recovery: Identify underperforming staff and collaborate with the Operation team to
implement structured improvement plans.
- Partner Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for all training sessions conducted by brand
principals or external partners.
3. KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Readiness Tracking: Monitor training completion rates across all regions; proactively flag gaps to
management to prevent sales dips.
- Effectiveness Metrics: Use Conversion Rates, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and Attachment
Rates as key indicators of training impact.
- Insights: Deliver a comprehensive report detailing completion data, store visit findings, and strategic
recommendations.
- Correlation Analysis: Work with Brand PICs / Program PICs / Area Managers to align training
activities with actual sell-through performance per store.
4. Value-Added Services (VAS) & Special Programs
- Program Support: Lead the implementation and training for all Value-Added Services and internal
sales programs.
- Target Alignment: Monitor VAS performance and execute focused training activities to ensure all
targets are met.
5. New Hire Onboarding
- Structured Induction: Design and execute the onboarding roadmap for new hires, covering company
standards, product knowledge, and the sales process.
- Speed to Productivity: Ensure all new staff are equipped to sell independently and effectively within
their first 30 days.
- Certification: Maintain a rigorous onboarding checklist and formal sign-off process for every new
hire per store.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a retail sales, store training, or brand trainer role in consumer electronics or mobile.
- Confident presenter - you can hold a training room AND coach one-on-one on the floor.
- Analytical - you look at conversion rates and sell-through data, not just training attendance.
- Organised and self-driven - you manage your own store visit schedule and training calendar.
- Willing to travel to stores across Klang Valley regularly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
