Position : Mechanical Technician

Industry : Engineering and technical services

Location: Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ), Pulau Indah, Selangor

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Employment Type : 12 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM2,500 - RM3,000 (based on experience & skills) + OT

Interviews : Face-to-face

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to support tooling and asset coordination within a dynamic engineering environment.

In this role, you’ll ensure tooling assets are well-maintained, accurately tracked, and delivered on time, contributing directly to operational efficiency and field service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Track tooling calibration work orders and shipments
• Maintain inventory of kits, supplies, and warranty records
• Update tooling databases with purchases and calibration status
• Coordinate shipping and packaging of kits
• Conduct visual inspections of specialized kits returned from sites
• Issue purchase orders and manage vendor replacements under warranty
• Submit billing reports and maintain warehouse housekeeping to EHS standards
• Deliver kits on time with full quality assurance
• Perform other duties as assigned, including travel and overtime

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in mechanical or machine maintenance
• Candidates with factory production maintenance experience are welcome
• Fresh graduates with relevant mechanical background are encouraged to apply
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, BOMs, and engineering drawings
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Willingness to travel, work overtime, weekends, and public holidays
