Responsibilities:

• Build and organize HSSE team for Malaysia facility to supervise Health, Safety, Security and Environmental activities and to support production operation
• Support Head Quarter to roll out ESG measure and initiatives and help to implement to achieve suitable rating of Malaysia facility
• Lead and organize various safety and environmental protection inspections and ensure timely rectification of any issues
• Establish good communication with various functional departments of the company to ensure the implementation of the HSE requirements
• Assist General Manager in responding to inspections by government functional departments at all levels for safety, environmental protection, fire protection, etc., and provide feedback and convey necessary amendments of the safety system
• Lead and participate in drafting safety regulations of the Group's safety risk management, and ensure proper implementation by each functional department
• Maintain good communication with Group's safety and risk management committee, and timely convey and implement the relevant HSSE requirements of the Group
• Lead the security team to ensure the safety of the company's property
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in chemical engineering and safety or related fields
• More than 8 years of experience as an HSE manager or above in a large chemical enterprise
• Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines, be resourceful and independent
• Possessing a Certified Safety Professional or similar certificate is advantageous
• Excellent multitasking, teamwork, and positive attitude
• Good organizational skills for cross-departmental coordination
