About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Service Crew to join our dynamic team at MCR Group Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. As a Service Crew member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable dining or hospitality experience. Your contribution will directly impact our reputation and guest satisfaction within the vibrant Kuala Lumpur hospitality sector.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting guests with a warm welcome and seating them promptly and courteously

2. Taking accurate food and beverage orders whilst providing menu recommendations and guidance

3. Serving food and beverages in accordance with hospitality standards and company protocols

4. Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across dining areas and service stations

5. Processing payments and handling transactions accurately and securely

6. Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any concerns with professionalism and discretion

7. Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service delivery

8. Restocking supplies and maintaining service stations throughout your shift

9. Adhering to all food safety regulations and company policies

10. Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during busy service periods

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience in a hospitality service environment, ideally in a restaurant, café or hotel setting

2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner

3. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

4. Basic numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems

5. Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods during busy service times

6. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required

7. A positive attitude, patience and the ability to remain composed under pressure

8. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

9. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are advantageous

10. Certification in food handling or hospitality service would be beneficial
