• Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, relaying them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously, adhering to service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setting, clearing, and sanitization.
• Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
• Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, ensuring the readiness of the dining area for service.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia with customers and colleagues.
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential problems to maintain service flow and guest satisfaction.
