Retail Executive / Senior Retail Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Cyberjaya
Work Arrangement: Fully On-Site

We are looking for a passionate, proactive, and customer-focused Retail Executive / Senior Retail Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will oversee daily retail operations, deliver outstanding customer service, manage inventory, coordinate merchandising activities, and support the overall success of the store. Key Responsibilities

Retail Operations

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate store activities to ensure efficient workflow and a seamless shopping experience.
• Support merchandising, stock replenishment, and administrative tasks to maintain operational excellence.

Sales & Cash Management

• Process cash and cashless transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare sales reports.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, and operational documentation.

Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable products.
• Provide guidance on baking ingredients, packaging solutions, baking tools, and related products.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Create and maintain attractive product displays in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, well-stocked, and presented in an organized manner.
• Execute merchandising plans for promotions, festive campaigns, and new product launches.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Manage stock ordering, receiving, replenishment, and inventory updates.
• Monitor stock availability, fast-moving items, and product expiry dates.
• Conduct regular stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Implement proper stock rotation (FIFO) and ensure products are stored according to food safety and quality standards.

Team Coordination

• Prepare staff duty rosters to ensure adequate manpower coverage.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational and customer service goals.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and productive working environment.

Online & Order Fulfilment

• Process online, phone, and social media orders accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate order packing, delivery arrangements, and customer self-collection.
• Ensure product information, pricing, and inventory records are consistently updated in the system.

Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Assist in organising promotional campaigns, festive events, product demonstrations, workshops, and sampling activities.
• Stay informed about the latest baking trends, ingredients, packaging innovations, and new product offerings to better serve customers.

Store Maintenance & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and welcoming retail environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, food handling requirements, and workplace safety standards.

Requirements

• Passionate about retail and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
• Friendly, confident, proactive, and customer-oriented.
• Good communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Responsible, dependable, and willing to take initiative.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Previous retail, supermarket, FMCG, or bakery supply experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal and customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to commute to Cyberjaya.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM8.00 - RM9.00 per hour
