Role Overview

As our Chief Designer, you will be the creative visionary behind our product aesthetics and brand identity. You will lead the design team, overseeing diverse projects and ensuring a strong, cohesive identity across our cosmetics lines, packaging, and promotional visuals. This role requires a balance of artistic talent, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market trends in the beauty industry to drive creative strategy and AI-enhanced design workflows. Given the cross-border nature of our operations, you should also be willing to travel to China to collaborate closely with regional teams and ensure seamless execution of design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of designers across Hong Kong and China, fostering creativity and innovation.

• Develop and oversee design concepts for new cosmetic products and packaging.

• Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline processes and elevate creative output; utilize AI-driven automation for product visualization, concept ideation and content generation.

• Assign tasks to team members, provide creative direction, and maintain high design standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product R&D, marketing & sales, and product development to achieve business goals.

• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for design-related projects.

• Stay ahead of trends in beauty and fashion, ensuring all designs align with brand values, sustainability goals, and customer expectations.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Creative Media, Multimedia Design, Advertising, Fine Arts or related disciplines.

• Proven experience of 3+ years in product or packaging design (cosmetics or luxury goods preferred).

• Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent art direction, graphic design expertise, and proficiency in layout presentation and artwork production.

• Ability to adapt to market trends and evolving AI-driven design technology.

• Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across different parties.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Design and AI-Powered tools.

• Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin.

• Willingness to travel to China as required.
