- 1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company’s short-term and long-term business goals.
2. Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax, and asset management.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS/MFRS), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements in Malaysia.
3. Risk & Internal Control
- Establish and maintain robust internal control systems, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and reduce operational risk.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure; ensure sufficient funding for daily operations and expansion plans.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and financial institutions.
4. Business Partnership & Leadership
- Collaborate with other department heads to provide financial insights, cost optimization initiatives, and profitability analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; set clear performance goals and foster a high-performance culture.
- Advise senior management on financial implications of business decisions, pricing strategies, and operational improvements.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes; analyze variances and provide actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, and funding options to maximize shareholder value.
Pay: $10,800.00 - $15,800.00 per month
