About the Role
The Leader, Business Development Malaysia, will be responsible for driving sales growth and enhancing customer relationships within the architectural products sector across the region
Responsibilities
Sales Support & Execution:
- Responsible for identifying and generating new project leads and sales opportunities through various channels and media in the Building and Construction industry.
- To lead in sales generation, prepare and present sales proposals/quotations, negotiation and facilitate in confirmation together with distributors, as well as to liaise with internal operation teams for smooth execution and delivery of orders.
- Work closely with distributors to enhance client’s engagement and ensure a seamless experience with LIXIL.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Developers, Architects, Interior Designers, QS Consultants, Contractors & Distributors.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction & success in sales confirmation.
- Personalize interactions to build loyalty and long-term engagement.
Operational Excellence:
- Support daily sales operations, including order processing, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely product delivery and service fulfilment.
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide insights for process improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
Market Research & Insights:
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities.
- Provide feedback to management on business partners’ preferences and emerging demands.
- Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 -15years of experience in sales, preferably in the Building Materials / Sanitaryware /architectural products industry.
