Scientex Hiring! Full Time Electrical and Electronics Engineer in Johor - Ricebowl

About the role

We are seeking a talented Electrical and Electronics Engineer to join our team at SCIENTEX PACKAGING (AYER KEROH) BERHAD in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. As a fulltime member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

What you'll be doing

• Able to conduct testing and commissioning of systems to ensure they meet safety, quality and performance standards

• Able to develop and troubleshoot machines automated system

• Able to troubleshoot any machine problems and minimize machine downtime and wastage

• Able to read and understand electrical schematics, PCB designs and wiring diagrams

• Able to carry out preventive maintenance system effectiveness

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

• Ensuring compliance and responsible in improving the safety of all the electrical facilities in the factory that comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Attend breakdown maintenance for restoration of supply during normal working hours and stand by period, inclusive of isolation of faulty section and restoration of power supply

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in the manufacturing industry

• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in the use of maintenance management software and tools

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic systems, PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, or automation is an advantage.
