Sugihara Grand Industries Hiring! Full Time Executive, Research and Development in Selangor - Ricebowl

 Manage the development of new products and work closely with customers and the internal team on product design and specifications.  Develop product sample and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure all processes and specifications are met.

·         Manage new project product development and cycle time including manpower requirements for each process based on customer requirements

 ·         Ensure mould develop according to specification

·         Liaise and communicate with customers on any related issues on new product development 

·         In charge of development, documentation and implementation of department APQP

·         Conduct project hand over training to related parties

·         Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for new project development

·         Conduct fitment trials to ensure product sample meets customer’s requirements and address all customers’ issues and get customer’s approval on the product sample

·         Coordinate and communicate with all related parties on project progress and improvement activities

·         Involve in sourcing raw material or child parts for new products development

·         Manage new project on new roll form development

·         Involved in R &D department improvement activities which relates to Production floor

·         Support and carry out responsibility assigned related to Safety, Health & Environment

·         Ability to work as a  team especially in inter-departmental projects

·         Good communication and interaction skills

·         Ability to use tact and sensitivity in handling day-to-day interactions

·         Must be customer-focused to meet customer’s needs and expectations

·         Project management skills

·         Product Knowledge

·         Computer literate and able to operate AUTOCAD and other similar software

·    Holds a Degree / Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 1 year experience preferably in the OEM industry
