J.K. Wire Harness Hiring! Full Time Production Executive in Johor - Ricebowl

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Executive to join our dynamic team at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. in Johor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the efficient planning, scheduling, and execution of our manufacturing operations, ensuring we meet our production targets and deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Working Location :

Rengit Branch - PTD 4086, Jln Pontian - Batu Pahat, 83100 Rengit, Johor Darul Ta'zim
Perak Branch - J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. Kampung Baru 5, 35400 Tapah Road, Perak

Department :

1. Inventory (Rengit Branch) -

   • Handle Inventory store

   • Liases with production & follow production planning.

   • Make sure all wire & material follow production planning

2. Assembly (Perak Branch)

   • Develop, optimize and document production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.

   • Conduct time studies and capacity analyses, and identify bottlenecks to improve workflow.

   • Support automation initiatives to drive process improvements.

   • Monitor and control critical process parameters, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

   • Collaborate closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.

   • Lead or actively participate in cross-functional projects, including new product introductions and process transfer activities.

   • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for defects, quality issues, or customer complaints.

3. Production Control/Planner (Perak Branch)

   • Research and analyzes sales trends and other factors related to demand planning,

   • Manages forecasting processes and reporting.

   • Data collection from internal and external sources on the factors known to predict or influence demand.

   • Statistical analysis of sales, inventory and other data

   • Modeling the data to predict future demand.

   • Advanced proficiency with Access. Excel - creating queries and performing complex quantitative analysis to detect correlation and patterns in the data

   • To perform other duties as the Company may require from time to time

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the wire harness or similar industry

2. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control principles

3. Proficient in data analysis and the use of production management software

4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

5. Ability to work well in a team and effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders

6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

7. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
