Federal Packages Hiring! Full Time Warehouse - Logistic Assistant Manager in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

About the role

Federal Packages Sdn Bhd is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse & Logistic Assistant Manager in Simpang Ampat, Penang. You will manage daily warehouse operations, track inventory, and lead logistics staff to improve supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Set up robust cycle count process and ensure high inventory accuracy

• Interpret, advise and contribute to the development of Warehousing/Logistic policies and processes

• Ensure that stocks are received promptly and efficiently to maximize product availability to improve inventory fill rate

• Ensure efficient storage of products to maximize warehouse storage space and manage 3rd party warehousing where necessary

• Set up system and constantly seeks to reduce cost to serve while improving customer service level

• Comply with company ‘s security, safety, health and environment and quality policies pertaining to finished goods storage and handling

• Manage the finished goods warehouse ISO and related documentation

• Incoming-Planning & Support Daily Incoming Operation, Stock maintenance & control, Routine storage inspection for arrangement, spare maximization, safety & health measures & Monitoring & Maximizing usage of resources of transport.

• Outgoing- Support the collection of products stock-in & delivery to customers.

• Warehouse-maintain storage operation effectively and keep delivery stock in safety condition, ensuring 5S and waste control.

• Planning & Control section (Admin) – Ensure documentation accuracy be posted and distributed. Prepare strategies and planning for improvement.

• General-Perform co-ordination for all dept, customers and agent.  To solve all critical stock problem with efficiency.  Ensure proper cost control for the department.

• Analyze training needs and deliver people development activities at Warehouse department.

• Responsible for job evaluation and appraisals of subordinates.

What we're looking for

• Possess Bachelor Degree / Diploma in any related field or equivalent.

• Good Scholastic achievements and proven track record in manufacturing / Packaging industry

• Possess 3 - 5years experience preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.

• Relevant working knowledge on Shipping & Warehouse Management   

• Analytical and with Strong interpersonal & communication skills

• Committed team player, adaptable and flexible in approach

• Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and local language/dialect.

• Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

• Result-oriented, Independent, and good initiative.

• Ability to work under pressure
