1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and plating standards

2. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your station and all kitchen equipment

3. Ensuring all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards

4. Monitoring stock levels and communicating ingredient needs to management

5. Collaborating with fellow kitchen staff and the head chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations

6. Quality checking dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure consistency and presentation

7. Following portion control guidelines and minimising food waste

8. Assisting with food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients

9. Maintaining a positive attitude and supporting the team during service

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role within the hospitality sector

2. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety procedures

3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight service deadlines

4. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to food quality and presentation

5. Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff

6. Passion for cooking and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer experiences
