Senior Product Developer (Sweater)(Ref# 068495)

Responsibilities

• Design Excellence: Lead the full range of product design, create detailed specification and construction details from concepts to final 3D garment sampling and prints design

• Market Insights: Research and analyze market trends, colors, raw materials to ensure designs meet commercial needs and customer demands

• Collaborative Development: Work with customers and internal teams to translate design requirements into manufacturable products.

• Presentation Skills: Prepare seasonal presentation boards, design sketches, illustration and CADs. Deliver compelling design presentations to customers and internal stakeholders

• Cross Team Collaboration: Ensure designs are feasible for production by closely working with the other designers, 3D technicians, merchandisers, suppliers, technicians and sample room

• Project Management: Track and follow up on samples and new design projects from ideation to final garment sampling

• Ad hoc Support: Assist in various duties and adhoc projects by supervisor to support business development

• Undertake business travel as required

Requirements

• Design Expertise: A Degree holder or above in Fashion Design, Textile, or related field with 5+ years of experience in apparel design.

• Passion for Design: A genuine passion for apparel design and raw material development is essential.

• Aesthetics Intelligence: You are a tastemaker, understand and appreciate the nuances of design. With strong fashion sense and a keen eye for visual for both North America & Europe market.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva; Experience in 3D software & Ai tool is preferred.

• Problem Solving:  Self-initiative with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.

• Communication Skills: Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required for effective communication with diverse teams
