Job summary

To overseeing the company’s general accounting function. Implementing robust accounting systems, SOPs, and policies to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. General Accounting & Reporting:

Oversee basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control). Perform month-end closing, general ledger maintenance, and pass monthly journals.

2. Financial Analysis & Forecasting:

Prepare monthly meeting reports and financial forecasting including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash, and Closing Stock. Provide in-depth financial analysis and variance explanations.

3. Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

Monitor all bank balances, manage fund transfers to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations, and perform timely bank reconciliations.

4. Payment Verification:

Thoroughly check and verify all outgoing payments executed across various mediums, alongside corresponding invoices prior to submitting them to top management for approval.

5. E-Invoicing & Systems Validation:

Prepare and verify all data before proceeding with monthly consolidated E-invoices submission.

6. Audit & Tax Coordination:

Serve as the company liaison with external auditors and tax agents. Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, address audit queries, and coordinate annual tax filings.

7. Inventory Control & Internal Auditing :

Supervise the internal stock-take team. Check and verify stock-take audit reports and adjustment reports across all retail outlets and warehouses.

8. Team Leadership:

Assign and audit the work of the team members to develop, implement, and maintain generally accepted accounting systems. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
