Responsibilities

Optivance Advancements is a Singapore-based venture studio developing early-stage digital products across multiple industries. We focus on practical, real-world use cases and aim to build products with a high standard of design, usability, and execution.

We’re hiring a Product Management Intern to help drive product strategy, define user problems, and ship features that create real impact.

This is a paid, part-time internship based in Singapore / remote-first, with occasional in-person working sessions where needed. You will work directly with the founding and engineering team on active product builds.

Responsibilities

As a Part-time Product Management Intern, you will:

  • Conduct user research and market analysis to identify customer problems and opportunities
  • Define product goals, success metrics, and feature requirements
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and prioritization frameworks
  • Write clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with designers and engineers to scope, prioritize, and launch new features
  • Analyze product data, user feedback, and experiments to improve the product
  • Coordinate with founders and stakeholders to align product priorities and timelines
  • Document product decisions and communicate updates clearly across the team
  • Use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate research, planning, documentation, and product ideation
  • Help optimize development execution of products

Qualifications

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Are interested in product management, startups, and building user-centric products
  • Have experience (through internships, school projects, startups, or personal projects) working on digital products
  • Can break down complex problems into structured, actionable plans
  • Are comfortable using tools such as Notion, Jira, Linear, Excel/Google Sheets, Figma, Claude, Perplexity and Chatgpt.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Can commit to a part-time internship arrangement

Bonus Skills

These are helpful but not required:

  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or PostHog
  • Basic SQL or data analysis knowledge
  • Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
  • Understanding of AI products, LLMs, voice interfaces, or SaaS products
  • Experience conducting user interviews, A/B testing, or growth experiments
  • Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum product development

What You Will Gain

  • Hands-on experience building and launching real products used by customers
  • Direct exposure to product strategy, design, engineering, and startup operations
  • Opportunity to own product features from idea through launch
  • Mentorship and feedback directly from the founding team
  • Experience working with AI-powered products and modern product development workflows
  • Practical experience across the full product lifecycle, from research and discovery to execution and iteration
