Optivance Advancements is a Singapore-based venture studio developing early-stage digital products across multiple industries. We focus on practical, real-world use cases and aim to build products with a high standard of design, usability, and execution.
We’re hiring a Product Management Intern to help drive product strategy, define user problems, and ship features that create real impact.
This is a paid, part-time internship based in Singapore / remote-first, with occasional in-person working sessions where needed. You will work directly with the founding and engineering team on active product builds.
Responsibilities
As a Part-time Product Management Intern, you will:
- Conduct user research and market analysis to identify customer problems and opportunities
- Define product goals, success metrics, and feature requirements
- Create and maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, and prioritization frameworks
- Write clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with designers and engineers to scope, prioritize, and launch new features
- Analyze product data, user feedback, and experiments to improve the product
- Coordinate with founders and stakeholders to align product priorities and timelines
- Document product decisions and communicate updates clearly across the team
- Use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate research, planning, documentation, and product ideation
- Help optimize development execution of products
Qualifications
You may be a good fit if you:
- Are interested in product management, startups, and building user-centric products
- Have experience (through internships, school projects, startups, or personal projects) working on digital products
- Can break down complex problems into structured, actionable plans
- Are comfortable using tools such as Notion, Jira, Linear, Excel/Google Sheets, Figma, Claude, Perplexity and Chatgpt.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Can commit to a part-time internship arrangement
Bonus Skills
These are helpful but not required:
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or PostHog
- Basic SQL or data analysis knowledge
- Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
- Understanding of AI products, LLMs, voice interfaces, or SaaS products
- Experience conducting user interviews, A/B testing, or growth experiments
- Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum product development
