Responsibilities

Role Overview

The Project Director will play a key role in building and strengthening data center project delivery capabilities within a growing contractor platform. This position focuses on driving end-to-end project oversight across civil and M&E scopes, while contributing to technical excellence, market positioning, and future business opportunities. The role will work closely with senior leadership to support both project execution and capability development in a competitive regional market.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale mission-critical projects
  • Provide technical leadership across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes
  • Manage project lifecycle including planning, execution, and handover phases
  • Engage with consultants, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure design and delivery alignment
  • Support pre-construction activities including feasibility and technical input
  • Drive contractor-side execution and ensure quality, cost, and timeline adherence
  • Contribute to building internal data center expertise and capabilities
  • Support commercial decisions and identify value engineering opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders
  • Contribute to business development and market expansion initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering data center or mission-critical projects end-to-end
  • Background with main contractors is essential
  • Strong technical expertise across both civil and M&E works
  • Exposure to data center projects (alternatively semiconductor or cleanroom projects)
  • Good understanding of the Singapore and regional data center market
  • Strong network and familiarity with consultants, vendors, and supply chain
  • Commercially astute with the ability to support business growth initiatives
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-evolving environment and build new capabilities
