• Develop and maintain relationship with and Japanese Companies and Japanese Governmental Agencies in APAC.
• Conduct marketing, origination and execution of project finance transactions in APAC.
• Liaise and co-work with relavant departments and SMBC group members to obtain internal approvals including credit / ESG / reputational risk perspectives
• Strategic planning for business development of structured finance area in APAC.
• Support ad-hoc works for some senior staffs at the same department.
• Share knowledge to team members and motivate others to maximize the outcome of the team

Job Requirement

• At least 3 years of banking sector experiences.
• Fluent in spoken and written Japanese is desirable as this role needs to discuss with Japanese government agencies/clients and make presentation in Japanese, and also coordination with SMBC's head office in Japan
• Professional level of MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint,and the analysis and analysis of financial model.
• University graduate with strong academic background
• A team player but also independent and self-motivated
• Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise, manage and meet expectations/deadlines with strong work ethics, integrity and commitment
• Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law and banking regulations
