Company Description Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) is a new, innovative health campus in Singapore that will offer a comprehensive range of clinical specialties and healthcare services. The hospital will provide emergency, inpatient, rehabilitative, and outpatient specialist care, supporting individuals across the continuum of health needs. TGCH is designed to integrate general and community care, delivering coordinated and patient-centered services in one location. The campus aims to leverage modern healthcare practices and technology to improve clinical outcomes and the overall care experience for diverse patient populations.

Role Description The Informatics Pharmacist at TGCH will support the safe, effective, and efficient use of medications by optimizing pharmacy-related information systems and digital workflows. This full-time, on-site role in Singapore involves collaborating with pharmacy, medical, nursing, and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain electronic prescribing, medication management, and clinical decision support tools. The role includes reviewing medication data, building and updating formularies, configuring system rules and alerts, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards. The Informatics Pharmacist will participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and user training, as well as monitoring system performance and medication safety indicators to drive continuous improvement. In addition, the role will contribute to projects related to digital transformation, analytics, and integration of new technologies within the pharmacy and broader clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Relevant pharmacy qualifications, such as a recognized degree in Pharmacy and eligibility for professional registration or licensure in Singapore.
  • Experience or training in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Knowledge of health informatics, electronic health records, computerized physician order entry, and medication management systems, with the ability to translate clinical needs into system requirements.
  • Competence in data analysis, documentation, and reporting, including the ability to interpret medication-related data and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and end users, including experience in user education or system training.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience in informatics, digital transformation, or health IT projects in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with developments in pharmacy practice, informatics, and relevant regulations or standards.
