Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Batu Berendam for a Test Equipment Engineer (Final and Wafer Test). The Test Equipment Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving test equipment used in final and wafer test processes, including setup, calibration, and routine maintenance. Daily activities include monitoring equipment performance, conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The role involves collaborating with test engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize test stands, validate new equipment or test programs, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. The engineer also documents procedures, maintains equipment records, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, reliability, and throughput.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Test Engineering and experience working with Final and Wafer Test processes.
  • Hands-on expertise with Test Equipment and Test Stand setup, configuration, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
  • Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or OSAT environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and basic statistical methods for test result evaluation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Batu Berendam and support shift or weekend activities when required.
