Role Description The Sales Team Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, responsible for leading and developing a team of financial sales professionals. This role involves setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition. The Sales Team Manager will oversee team training and coaching, ensuring advisers are equipped with up-to-date product knowledge, regulatory awareness, and effective sales techniques. Daily responsibilities include coordinating sales activities, supporting advisers in complex client situations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize processes. The role also involves preparing regular reports, analyzing sales metrics, and contributing to business development initiatives aligned with PIAS’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong team management and leadership skills, with experience overseeing sales or advisory teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven customer service skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client experiences and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Experience in training and coaching, with the ability to develop and deliver effective sales and product training programs.
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including target setting, pipeline management, and closing strategies in a financial services or related environment.
  • Relevant experience in financial advisory, wealth management, insurance, or investment products is highly beneficial.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in using CRM or sales management tools.
  • Minimum diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment and familiarity with MAS guidelines and industry compliance standards.
