Position : Workplace Operations Analyst

Industry : Oil & Gas (Shared Service)

Location: The Horizon Bangsar South City, No. 8, Jalan Kerinchi, 59200 Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Employment Type: 12 months contract with PERSOL

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 60/40

Salary range : RM15,000 - RM18,000 (based on experience & qualification)

Job Summary

To provide privacy advisory support, manage compliance initiatives, and help ensure adherence to global data protection regulations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in Data Privacy, Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, or Cybersecurity who enjoy partnering with stakeholders to drive privacy best practices and strengthen compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and advisory support on data privacy and compliance requirements
• Support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), consent management, and data subject rights processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Partner with business stakeholders, legal teams, compliance functions, and technology teams to manage privacy-related matters
• Monitor privacy risks, identify gaps, and recommend mitigation measures
• Utilize privacy management tools such as OneTrust to support compliance activities and reporting
• Support privacy reviews, audits, investigations, and ongoing compliance initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of privacy governance, processes, and controls

What We're Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience in: Data Privacy, Compliance, Risk Management, Legal Compliance OR Cybersecurity Compliance
• Practical experience providing privacy advisory support
• Experience using OneTrust or similar privacy management platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking)

Strong understanding of:

• Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
• Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
• Consent Management
• Data Subject Rights

Preferred Background

• Technology, Digital, Marketing, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Legal, or Risk-focused environments
• Exposure to privacy regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
