Linergy Power Hiring! Full Time Supply Chain Manager in Selangor - Ricebowl

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and the smooth delivery of finished products. The role supports production planning, inventory management, supplier coordination, logistics operations, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

In a lithium battery manufacturing environment, the position plays a critical role in ensuring the stable supply of raw materials and components while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting business growth.

Working Location: Serendah, Selangor

Key Responsibilities

Supply base and cost management

• Develop supply based on requirement , maintain supply base strategy
• Manage NPP procurement , including EQ , NON EQ , cost down , delivery management , supply development
• Manage direct material source development and cost down

Supply Planning

• Develop and maintain material based on customer demand and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Sales teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Monitor material availability and proactively identify supply risks.
• Manage material supplier to meet customer delivery requirements.

Inventory Management

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
• Conduct inventory analysis to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
• Support periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.
• Expedite urgent orders and resolve supply issues.
• Support supplier development and cost optimization initiatives.

Logistics

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Work closely with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor shipping schedules and transportation costs.
• Ensure compliance with import/export requirements and hazardous material handling regulations where applicable.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Track key supply chain KPIs
• Prepare regular reports for management review.
• Analyze supply chain performance and recommend improvement opportunities.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ERP system enhancements and process standardization.
• To comply with the company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, and to participate in EHS programs and training as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, logistics, or inventory management.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Experience in battery, electronics, automotive, semiconductor, chemical, or related industries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of supply chain planning and inventory management principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Understanding of MRP, demand forecasting, and production planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work in Serendah, Selangor.
