Job Summary

Support the Warehouse Supervisor in managing daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, staff coordination, and stock control to ensure efficient and timely handling of goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing daily warehouse operations to maintain smooth workflow
• Support receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently
• Monitor stock accuracy and track inventory movement to maintain up-to-date records
• Conduct cycle counts, stocktakes, and stock reconciliations to verify inventory levels
• Arrange, label, and store items properly to optimize warehouse organization and accessibility
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to complete daily assigned tasks and meet operational targets
• Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, shortfalls, excess stock, or operational issues promptly for resolution
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and housekeeping standards to ensure a safe working environment
• Support accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing goods to comply with company procedures
• Assist coordination between warehouse, logistics, procurement, and outlets to facilitate smooth operations
• Step in to coordinate warehouse activities in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure continuity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations support roles
• Ability to assist in supervising a small team to support operational efficiency
• Basic computer knowledge to assist with documentation and inventory tracking
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not compulsory)
