Responsibilities
Join our team as a Barista in a UNESCO-recognised hawker centre. We provide full training to help you succeed in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. Be part of preserving our hawker heritage through the joy of coffee.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take customer orders and provide assistance in choosing menu items.
Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for every customer.
Food and Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages
Follow recipes and preparation techniques to maintain quality and consistency.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the work area clean and organised.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines
Regularly clean and maintain equipment, such as coffee machines.
Cash Handling
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash registers and maintain proper change levels.
Team Collaboration
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors to address any concerns or challenges.
Training and Development
Participate actively in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Seek feedback and be open to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Strong customer service orientation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Basic math skills for cash handling.
