Cyber Security Researcher
We are looking for a Cyber Security Researcher to support research and analysis work across software security, vulnerability discovery, and cyber threat mitigation. This role is suitable for someone with a strong interest in offensive security, reverse engineering, fuzzing, and low-level software analysis.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cyber threat experts to identify and improve system security.
- Conduct fuzzing, reverse engineering, and code audits to discover software security flaws.
- Develop proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate identified software vulnerabilities.
- Investigate security flaws and provide practical remediation recommendations to reduce cyber risk.
- Analyse software behaviour, security controls, and potential attack vectors across relevant platforms.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience including internship in cyber security, software security research, reverse engineering, or vulnerability analysis.
- Strong interest and passion for cyber security research.
- Background in assembly language and C programming.
- Knowledge of Android or iOS internals and security mitigation techniques.
- Experience in reverse engineering would be an added advantage.
- OSCP, OSCE, or related security certifications would be an added advantage.
