Job Summary
You will manage multiple interior fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality, and education sectors. From initiation to completion, you will coordinate vendors, control budgets and timelines, and engage stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects concurrently by coordinating with vendors to prevent downtime during works
- Prepare detailed project specifications, timelines, tender/bid documents, and vendor procurement plans
- Produce and submit weekly project reports and updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and progress tracking
- Deliver projects within established budgets and timelines by monitoring costs and schedules actively
- Engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders to understand perspectives and align project goals
- Apply structured and organized approaches to project management tasks to maintain quality and efficiency
- Communicate clearly and collaborate with project teams to foster teamwork and achieve project success
- Thrive under pressure by managing tight deadlines and high expectations effectively
- Conduct commercial assessments, survey client needs, and prepare project management proposals
- Perform value engineering, buildability analysis, and critical reviews of design and documentation to optimize project outcomes
- Negotiate risk-assessed solutions to address project ambiguities and competing priorities
- Lead and motivate project team members by fostering a creative and collaborative environment
- Utilize technology platforms to enhance project delivery and maintain digital leadership in project management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field and/or 1 to 8 years’ experience in design, construction, or project management for interior fit-out projects
- Strong background in schedule, quality, cost, and risk management within interior fit-out environments
- Experience working in Design & Build (D&B) environments, consultancy, or contracting roles
