We are a growing structural steel engineering company seeking a motivated and responsible Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of structural steel projects, from tendering through project completion.

Fresh graduates who are eager to learn are welcome to apply. Candidates with relevant experience in structural steel or construction projects will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare progress claims, payment responses, and final accounts.
• Manage variation orders (VO), contract administration, and cost control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on contractual and commercial matters.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow.
• Maintain proper documentation and commercial records.
• Assist with procurement of materials and subcontractors where required.
• Perform other quantity surveying and commercial duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant working experience in structural steel, steel fabrication, or the construction industry will have an advantage.
• Familiar with construction contracts, quantity take-off, cost estimation, and progress claims.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to read engineering and construction drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
