JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for executing and coordinating end-to-end vendor performance assessments (VPA) governance through structured planning, execution, and cross-functional coordination. Leads performance evaluation initiatives by engaging internal assessors, tracking completion, ensuring scoring compliance, and facilitating vendor engagement for underperformance resolution. Supports strategic procurement decisions and risk mitigation by delivering timely and actionable vendor performance insights that reinforce corporate standards and contractual obligations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead & coordinate the full cycle of Vendor Performance Assessments (VPA) by engaging with assessors and package owners, issuing reminders, providing scoring guidance, and verifying completeness before submission.
• Ensure consistency with VPM procedures and assessment criteria.
• This supports informed procurement decisions and helps project teams identify and address vendor weaknesses early.
• Lead engagement sessions with vendors flagged for underperformance based on assessment results. Prepare performance records, facilitate root cause discussions, document agreed CAPs, and track implementation progress through structured follow-ups.
• These engagements support resolution of performance gaps and reinforce vendor accountability.
• Coordinate and implement the vendor scorecard preparation and classification by consolidating VPA results, ensuring timely data entry into the system, and recommending vendor tiering based on performance trends and criticality to strengthen vendor portfolio decisions and support risk-based sourcing strategies.
• Facilitate and lead structured sessions with vendors flagged for poor performance to identify root causes, document Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and monitor their implementation. This ensures timely resolution of issues, prevents recurrence, and strengthens supply chain performance and governance.
• Execute consequence management processes for repeated vendor non-performance by preparing detailed case documentation, presenting evidence during Consequence Management Committee (CMC) deliberations, and ensuring timely follow-through on enforcement decisions to uphold contractual compliance and vendor discipline.
• Support subcontractor performance visibility by preparing structured performance reports, documenting outcomes from performance review and CMT meetings, and tracking follow-up actions to ensure alignment with project delivery expectations and continuous performance monitoring.
• REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Science or other professional related qualifications.
• Has relevant experience across function in planning, procurement and the industries preferably heavy engineering, oil and gas or equivalent.
