Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage full financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial planning in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports to inform business decisions
• Execute month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial closure
• Process payroll and ensure timely CPF, IRAS, and statutory submissions to comply with regulatory requirements
• Prepare GST returns and assist with tax-related matters to maintain tax compliance
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities to facilitate audits and regulatory processes
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance to support financial health and planning
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory accounting requirements
• Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and ad hoc projects to drive informed decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

• Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, CPF, and payroll regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience handling a full set of accounts
