Job Summary
The Key Account Manager drives medical sales growth across Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Hematology product portfolios, playing a pivotal role in expanding DKSH's presence within key healthcare accounts. This role creates meaningful impact by building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering specialized medical solutions that make a difference.
General Responsibilities
Drive achievement of sales targets across assigned territories by developing and executing experience-informed medical sales action plans for Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Hematology product portfolios
Engage existing and prospective customers through regular calls and visits to generate orders, demonstrations, and quotation opportunities, while delivering compelling product presentations that highlight key features and customer benefits
Prepare competitive quotations, tender prices, delivery terms, and commercial terms in alignment with company policies, and ensure prompt and professional responses to customer orders, queries, and complaints
Monitor and report on competitor activities, track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, and maintain accurate customer and sales data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen sales processes and elevate customer satisfaction, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and long-term key account relationship development
Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
Functional Skills and Knowledge
Minimum one year of experience in a similar roleDemonstrated experience in Oncology, Cardiovascular, Hematology, or Critical Care therapeutic areas
Working knowledge of the industry, market, competitors, customers, and products, with demonstrated selling skills
Basic understanding of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warrantiesWillingness to travel outstation and manage coverage across multiple areas
Strong communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Education
Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline
