Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or Fortinet.
Policy Configuration: Create, review, and manage firewall rules, NAT configurations, VPN tunnels, and security zones.
Incident Response & Analysis: Monitor firewall logs, investigate security alerts, and analyze network packets (e.g., using Wireshark) to identify anomalies.
Routing & Switching: Configure and manage network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) in coordination with security devices to ensure optimal data flow.
Compliance & Auditing: Conduct regular security policy compliance assessments and maintain documentation for all firewall configurations.
