Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Planner to support our Product Development Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating product testing, managing material readiness, and optimizing equipment scheduling. You will serve as the crucial link between engineering, operations, and logistics to ensure efficient production flows and the on-time execution of work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

• Schedule Optimization: Plan and optimize work order scheduling within tester allocation systems, aligning priorities, equipment capabilities, and test durations to maximize execution efficiency.
• Resource Utilization: Optimize equipment utilization and production flow by balancing scheduled equipment bookings with urgent engineering requests.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Lead weekly planning sessions with engineering leadership, module owners, and planning teams to align equipment availability and product allocation for upcoming execution cycles.

Execution & Monitoring

• End-to-End Tracking: Monitor end-to-end work order execution, proactively tracking progress, analyzing bottlenecks, and resolving on-hold tasks to ensure on-time completion against targets.
• Testing Support: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure equipment readiness and the availability of necessary hardware/collaterals prior to test execution.

Material & Inventory Management

• Material Readiness: Manage new requests for sample materials, ensuring accurate test execution and optimal sample selection to support both production and R&D requirements.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with inventory control and third-party logistics teams to track inbound and outbound materials, ensuring timely receipt, registration, and overall readiness.
• Request Tracking: Initiate and actively follow up on material requests to ensure timely availability of resources for engineering and validation testing.

System Deployment & Validation

• System Integration: Support the deployment and integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to streamline planning, material management, and shipment processes.
• System Testing: Perform system testing and validation during software migrations or updates to ensure operational readiness and minimize disruptions to daily operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability with a proven track record of resolving bottlenecks, optimizing equipment allocation, and improving workflow efficiency.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and align priorities between engineering, operations, and logistics teams.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage urgent requests, adapt to shifting engineering priorities, and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
